Election dias and its fun events

Every party talks about the corruption the other one did. In TN the DMK talks about the cases still pending against the AIADMK. The AIADMK general secretary talks about how the DMK family swindled money in the 2G scam.

And then the slandering - Mr Modi talks about Congress's Sikh riots and Ms Sonia Gandhi talks about the Godhra riot. My blood boils when I hear any politician on stage - they are passionate to talk about the oppositions weaknesses. Not a single word about their own failures. My question to all these guys is this - do you have it in you to agree you screwed up, for whatever reasons, and state with conviction that the same mistakes would never happen? Isn't that the way things are expected to happen in all institutions ranging from kindergarten school to jails, work places, and even mental asylums? Then why not expect the same of the people representing us?

Any party that openly says it failed will get my vote. The first step to improvement is self awareness. For the person who swallows his pride/malicious intents etc and says this, is someone who is willing to make changes. This is the sign of someone willing to improve for the better. But no - this is not a trait seen in any candidate now. They do not as much as utter a word of what went wrong, and the reason is simple. Acceptance of ones mistakes makes is necessary for them to correct it - our "Leaders" including Mr Modi is not willing to take that chance. They can instead give rhetoric about the flaws of the opposition party and the common man, poor as he is, desperate for some measure of relief will lap it all up and vote for the party not in power currently.

This is the reason I would like to pitch everyone to vote for the Aam Aadmi party. I ask people to vote for them and the response I get is that - they ran away from Delhi. I'd like to see any other person who enjoyed this position and gave it away for a principle that he believed in! Not one I am sure. No one seems to see that the few days the man was in power he started delivering. He didnt run away my friends - he was making a point - I stand for what I promised and if I cannot deliver then I will go to any extent to try to make it happen. But our "educated" lot only believed the news papers and its paid "editorials" and "intellectual opinions" - bah, all cock and bull stories. Ask any chief minister to quit his post for not being able to bring in a promised change - and you will see the fun events unfold. They will blame the opposition party first, then the weather and other naturally occurring events and finally the central government for not supporting them (if it is not their own party or part of the coalition). So please stop saying that he ran away - yes he should have communicated his intent a little bit more for a lot of morons like us to understand why he truly did it!

In a democracy the groups that have one of theirs in the elected body stands to gain some benefit. And for this very purpose one should vote for the AAP - it comprises educated members of society from every walk of life, across all categories of social, religious, caste, creed and every other form of categorization one can think of. This is what a true democracy should be. It needs to have diverse members in the elected body to ensure that every citizen of the state get her due share of rights and benefits.

Vote for true change. Vote for men of principles and not for the men of means. Make your decisions based on information, not on adverts!
